Die Manufacturers Looking Forward to TAIPEI PLAS 2008

TAIPEI PLAS 2008, a biennial industrial show coming in mid-September, is expecting more than 17,500 visitors that include prospective buyers from countries other than Taiwan. Taking this great opportunity to present themselves and their products to the foreign buyers, manufacturers of dies is preparing themselves for the inquiries on their products, and hopefully, for substantial orders from buyers.

In addition to being fully prepared for the five-day exhibition starting on September 18th and ending on September 22nd, manufacturers of dies as well as other plastic and rubber manufacturers have already presented useful information of their products through online database with the assistance of All Products Online Corporation (APOC), one of the leading e-commerce service providers in Taiwan. Having provided services for a considerable number of plastic and rubber manufacturers over time, APOC launched a monthly campaign starting from July 21st to promote the quality dies along with other plastic/rubber machinery and products offered by local manufacturers. Such campaign taking place in cyberspace serves as an endorsement to the industrial show coming up in physical world.

Having multiple operations and types, dies are widely applied to various industries. The commonly seen operations and types of dies include bending, blanking, broaching, bulging, coining, compound operations, compound dies, drawing, extruding, and forming among which the latter three operations and types are most frequently used in plastics and rubber industries. Both industrial and consumptive plastic parts can be produced with such operations.

With years of research and development, Taiwanese manufacturers of plastics and rubber machinery are now prepared to deal with the mounting petroleum price and environmental issues in an active way. Being aware of the importance of using limited resources with higher efficiency, manufacturers of dies continue to seek better operational models that are both environmentally friendly and financially rewarding. To satisfy the growing demand of both domestic and foreign customers, and at the same time, to meet the increasingly high standard prescribed by the bureau environmental protection, Taiwanese manufacturers of dies has been integrating production techniques with environmental protection procedures in hope of finding the best solution to the environment and to the financial concern of the buyers.

As the biennial event approaches, the e-commerce service provider, APOC, is now enhancing the online database for manufacturers of all sorts of dies along with other clients involving in plastics and rubber industries. APOC is working on the amelioration of the existing database containing information of plastics and rubber industries. The e-commerce service provider does not limit its mission to promoting this biennial industrial show coming in mid-September. Further, APOC wishes to provide all prospective buyers with a well-rounded database presenting relevant information of the industries.

It is doubtless that TAIPEI PLAS 2008, as its precedent in 2006, is an event both buyers and suppliers are looking forward to. With the scale of the industrial show, buyers are bound to meet qualified OEM/ODM suppliers during the forthcoming event.
